Hi! I’m Lena and I am a freelance surface pattern designer and illustrator based in Berlin.

​

A little bit about me, I have studied fashion in London and hold an MA in Textile Design. I have 20 years experience working in the fashion and print industry in London, Philadelphia and Berlin.

​

I love to draw very detailed, colourful and whimsical patterns and am inspired by everything around me, Whether handcrafted with pens and brushes on paper or digitally drawn, creating is what I like most in life, apart from my kid and partner. 

​

I design mostly for fashion print and I have worked for women's, kid’s and men’s print collections. Lately, I've been transitioning to designing patterns for home decor and from working exclusively to expanding into licensing some of my designs. 

 

Over the years my work has been sold globally to companies such as H&M, Paul and Joe, Calvin Klein, Boden, IKEA, M&S, Filippa K, Ted Baker, Fraas, New Look, ASOS, Oliver Bonas, Macy's, Karina Dresses, Perry Ellis and many more.
